Story Pitching: the Beginning of Promotion

No doubt, from the biggest business ventures to the smallest news clippings, it all begins with a well-crafted pitch.

Story pitching is an important, yet often overlooked, part of a strong integrated marketing strategy. Whether you’re pitching an idea for your next social media campaign or an idea for a news feature on your latest business endeavor, that pitch is the seed that can grow into an exciting new promotional opportunity.

Bringing your ideas to fruition can be a fun and rewarding process, and no one understands the value of your venture more than you. But what about when you are ready to expand? How do you express to the public your campaign platform or to investors that your cause is a worthy one?   • Obtaining Investors: Finding and securing investors is an important part of any start-up or expanding venture. Presenting a solid case for these investments is a critical step in the procurement process.
